THE DOGS

Beaux, Ghostbuster, Penny, Mike and Diva

They own the jungle road

Five dogs live at FlashTown: Beaux, Ghostbuster, Penny, Mike, and Diva. They own the jungle road, they ride in the car, and if the road is wet, they run faster.

Penny is the yellow-lab energy. Diva is Mike’s sister. Mike has the black snout. Beaux is the big brindle-and-white presence. Ghostbuster is the smaller black-and-white rocket.

Named after Flash.

FlashTown is named after Flash, Jessie’s Great Pyrenees — a dog who never came to Hawaiʻi. Jessie’s 2018 promise to Flash was to build a place where small, vulnerable animals could be safe. These five are part of that promise kept.

Other dogs, other islands.

Meatball and Noodle live at Rooster Island with Ryan. Kira is with Eden Nova / Vidu. They show up in the wider story — they are not FlashTown’s five.
